Having helped nearly 3,000 families buy and sell homes nationwide, Judy Johns of Overland Park, Kansas, is in her 30th year of “Realtor-ing” with Keller Williams and still loves it.  She brought Keller Williams to Kansas City in 1999, which has created opportunities for nearly 1000 agents citywide thus far.  She holds ABR, CRS, GRI, and SRES designations, and her “Johns Family Team” consistently averages among the top 1% of teams within KW International (over 60,000 teams), closing over 200 transactions per year, with an average sales volume of $40 million.

Before becoming a Realtor, Judy was a substitute teacher, participated in various volunteer programs, and worked as a part-time secretary in her church office. As a rookie, Johns worked referrals from friends, sat open houses and hired an assistant, which helped her bring in an extra $2 million per year. At various points in her career, she worked with several companies who specialized in a few real estate niches and became a Jack of All Trades, so to speak.

Now in charge of multiple KW offices, she is both a top 10 producer and one of the top five Realtors in the Kansas City market.  She is also a national & local panelist and speaker, attributing her success to a continual search for excellence: “My specialty is people,” she says, and continues to purse her goal of working with three generations of homebuyers.
