Havng served as branch manager for two established brokerages in Albany New York for over 15 years and bringing both to previously unreached levels of profitability, Miguel Berger decided it was time to put his talents to use for his own company. Having identified a burgeoning tech industry in the four-county area of upstate New York, Berger created TechValley Homes Real Estate with nothing more than a secretary and 2,000 sq feet of empty office space. He faced a looming challenge however; since having spent the better part of the year preparing to launch, he finally opened his doors in October of 2001, a mere one month after 9/11.
Join us this week as Miguel recounts an amazing story of creating a brand new business in possibly one of the worst times in history, and his subsequent rise from obscurity to a major player and well-known brand in the Tech Valley area of upstate New York.
