Steve Westmark (GRI, CRS, CRB, ABR, SRES, and RECS designations) is a consummate veteran of the real estate industry, not to mention Minnesota's #1 superstar agent, selling nearly 3000 homes during his illustrious 33-year career, and generating over half a billion dollars in total sales volume to boot! 

Westmark first got into the business while studying at the University of Minnesota. During his first few collegiate years, he would call on FSBO’s and Expireds, and attend local social events packed with savvy real estate agents.  Today he still works with Expireds, crediting them for nearly 20% of his business. In 2005 Steve closed 154 transactions for a total sales volume of $54 million.

Steve believes a key element of growing his business lies in his ability to remain the earliest adopter of the most innovative ideas in his market. Currently Steve serves as President of Counselor Realty, an agent-owned company which is currently ranked #71 according to RealTrends.  He is a past president of the Minnesota CRS Chapter, current Governor of Minnesota’s Regional MLS since 1998, and a Continuing Education Teacher for the State of Minnesota on the issues of technology, teams, and customer service.

Steve enjoys a great marriage to his wife of 30 years, Marilyn, and is always eager to spend time with his three children, now all grown up.  He also enjoys participating in PromiseKeepers, a national Christian men’s association, and co-sponsoring the building of many new Habitat for Humanity homes every year since 2000.
