Real Estate Mentor: Alexis Bolin

Alexis Bolin is no stranger to hard work.  At one point in her career she held down three waitress ing jobs as a single parent just to support her children.  Bolin (ABR, CRS, CRP & SRES) entered real estate in 1978, and has worked her entire 28 years at the same brokerage, ERA Old South Properties, she has been the #1 ERA nationwide on three separate occasions, and has remained the top ERA agent in Pensacola for over a decade now.

Bolin has spoken all over the United States for ERA, teaching classes for both Star Power and CRS' annual Sellabration event.  Her good fortune even lent her the opportunity to speak at both the French and the Spanish National real estate conventions held in Paris and Barcelona.  Bolin moved to Pensacola in 1977 and graduated from the Dale Carnegie Sales Institute in 1981. She is a charter member of the Pace Rotary Club and has served in her local Association of Realtors as Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Chairman of Professional Standards, Bylaws, Contracts and Finance. 

Bolin and her family recently established a scholarship at her local university for the child of a single parent, or a single parent who desires to return to school to improve their education. Known nationally for her uncanny ability in overcoming objections and negotiations, Alexis sold 164 homes in 2005, and she shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. Looking back at her success, she admits, “I don't have a college degree, but feel I have a PhD in Street Smarts from the School of Hard Knocks!”
