RISMEDIA, December 19, 2006-DFW Real Estate Group received another accolade, this time designated as the #3 real estate team in closed transactions nationally and #13 in the nation by sales volume. In both categories DFW Real Estate Group was the top ranked Texas firm. The recent award given by The Wall Street Journal and Real Trends was announced November 11, 2006, at the National Association of Realtors Annual Conference and Expo in New Orleans. The awards singled out the top 200 Real Estate Professionals in the nation.
With over 1.35 million registered real estate agents in the United States, to be among the Top 200 is an incredible designation, to be #3 and #13, even more incredible, but being tops in Texas is the best because this is where we do business," said DFW President, Dan Frank.
The most remarkable thing about this award is how few people we have on the real estate team. There are a lot of bigger companies, with many more agents, but this recognition proves that a handful of committed professionals are able to do the highest caliber work in our profession," said Executive Vice President of Real Estate Sales, Christopher Nash. I'm really proud of the team here at DFW, there's none like it in the Metroplex, or in Texas."
The Wall Street Journal noted that the Top 200 real estate professionals recognized by their research were the elite in the nation. According to the recently run article, (These) agents are easily in the top one percent of the top one percent of the real estate professionals in America."
Ranked #3 in closed transactions, the DFW Real Estate Group team closed 1,108 properties in 2005. Ranked as #13 in volume, these transactions represented $216 million in real estate sales.
In business since 1999, DFW Real Estate Group really began to grow in 2001. From 2001-2006, the company has grown from six employees to 60, and gross revenues have soared from $800 thousand in 2001 to an estimated $9.5 million in the same time period.
