Real Estate Apprentice Grant Applications Increase

Season II Numbers Double

Aliso Viejo, CA. March 30th, 2005 – The Real Estate Apprentice Foundation this week announced that application numbers for the first three months of the Second Season (Jan-June 05) have already surpassed the total for Season One. During Season One the Foundation received over 1,500 applications. Apprentice grant awards total $250,000 per year, and no repayment is required.

According to the Foundation’s Deputy Executive Director, Dr. Martin Oliver, “Season One was a tremendous success and Season Two is looking even better. During Season One Kendra Shearer was crowned the Real Estate Apprentice. Stefan Swanepoel, Creator of the Foundation presented $75,000 in real estate products and services to Kendra during a special ceremony that was held by Barney Fletcher RealtyU® in Atlanta. Last month nine other finalists received $5,000 worth of real estate products and services as Season One Winners.” Prizes can be viewed at http://www.realestateapprentice.com/grant.cfm

The goal of the Real Estate Apprentice™ Grant is to help newly licensed agents in overcoming the fears and the obstacles that so often confront them as they enter into the real estate industry. Free grants for new rookie agents are made possible through the Foundation because of the strong support by sponsoring companies that freely give back to the real estate industry.

The Real Estate Apprentice Grant Program is open to all new real estate students that are US or Canadian citizens or legal residents that have taken or will be taking a real estate licensing course during the six month grant season period (January 1st to June 30th) or 90 days preceding this period. Interested persons can apply online at www.RealEstateApprentice.com. Every six months inaugurates a new Season. The competition is judged on the basis of answers to essay questions and demonstrations of: Salesmanship and communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, creativity, and uniqueness. Every six months 12 leading Judges select 10 new winners. Their bios can be viewed at: http://www.realestateapprentice.com/judges.cfm

According to Dr. Oliver, a special Real Estate Apprentice DVD is currently in the making with a release date of May 1, 2005. “Shot on location in Atlanta, this special DVD will be 7-10 minutes in length and will feature the Real Estate Apprentice story, an interview with Kendra Shearer – The Grand Prize Winner, information on the application process, the Apprentice Grant philosophy, sponsor details, and how new agents and real estate companies can get involved.
